Generator Land: I remember/time after time
Title: I remember/time after time
Descriptor: maybe this time
Button: click it
Background: Rain delay because it was atmospheric. Rain = water = tears.
Format:
one slot pop-up
There is no recombining within the phrases, but
when the results are considered consecutively,
there is a cumulative effect.
Sample of results:
I can't hear what you've said
Every day, I feel the tears that you weep
secrets stolen from deep inside me
I give my love to you
Then you say - go slow - I fall behind
If you're lost you can look & you will find me
My mind is all around you
The Title of the generator comes from Day After Day, Badfinger and
Time After Time, Cyndi Lauper. The two song titles are similar.
They both describe consecutive intervals.
The Descriptor implies loss, regret, and hope.
The Button is just a directive without emotional load.
I thought there needed to be a slight break so that the feeling aspect
wouldn't be relentless or overpowering.
Concept:
It was meant to be evocative/emotional.
I copied the lyrics of two songs, to see what would happen when
the songs were dis-assembled and allowed to recombine cumulatively.
This is not as destructive as dada. I was trying for a cento effect, but
line by line, not in whole verse sections.
I must have been pleased with it, at the time.
I rated it 4 stars.
