This feeling that grips my heart
Like a tight vice
As I see the hatred
that has overtaken my country.
I miss seeing the world as I saw it when I was a child, when all was trees and green nature. Before I feared that my dog would be killed for his breed, before I knew of the deaths of coral reefs and the clearing of rainforests, before I knew how common and frequent is the sins of human beings, and how prone we are to murder, starting with all species of animals, and progressing even to each other.

My sympathies to you...I understand!
I struggle endlessly trying to balance damage to the world now against even worse hidden horrors to come later!
Evil people always try to hijack needed reform movements, it is the nature of our evil world...there will be no peace until the Messiah comes to save us all...maybe pets can go to heaven too! if they record us I'm sure they can record a favorite pet as well.
