Fear, and Family; a Progression of Anxiety

If I don't figure this out, I may not be human. What is a family, and how do you make one? Why do we make them? Why do we miss them? What do we do--literally--what do we do without them?

Family is like democracy. It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried. (Sir Winston Churchill)

Family may be the worst form of social living except all the others that have been tried.

I've just changed my mind. This blog isn't ready to be written. It really belongs in a thread. I'll be back after I've heard from you out there. (Even silence will say something.)

I say bugger family - if you can form a lasting relationship with one of those people you didn't get to pick, like you do your friends, then you're doing good!
It may not do to consider them still your parent or sibling.. rather someone you got to know again later in life and found you could get along with.
