Can someone who knows nothing about Aspergers be wise enough to understand Aspies?

I was watching a Dog Whisperer episode about a dog that had an obsession.
Cesar Millan was explaining the psychological basis for such an obsession, and as he explained, it began to seem to me that he was explaining the real root reason for Aspie stimming.
