Watching someone that's in the Autism Spectrum can be challenging. You're the outsider looking in. Seeing the challenges happen, but never feeling what it can do to someone that's actually experiencing it. It heightens my anxiety that's for sure. When my fiancé goes through obstacles everyday that an NT (such as myself) can do no problem. I feel bad. It's not all negative though. As a NT, I have learned a lot. He has taught me a lot. How to be patient, kind, and nurturing. No matter what obstacles he goes through, he is always a sweet heart. There's so many up's and down's with dating someone that is in the Autism Spectrum, but I wouldn't change a thing. ❤
