because of my disability (autism) all other beliefs religions atheism etc (not the people but the religion itself) told me that because im autistic im subhuman cursed pice of dog crap etc etc etc . so i looked in to islam (again not the people but islam itself) and it said the opposite it said that i was actually blessed by God and that because of my suffering i will be rewarded for it

That's good Islam encourages the support of those with disabilities. Those with 'invisible' disabilities can often be treated cruelly.

dadko20 can you share with some of the insights you learnt?

I figure it might be very similar to Christianity and the Old Testament. I started a thread called How to love ourselves as Christians in this forum, why not check it out. Much of the same quotes should be applicable to Islam as well. We share at heart the same God.

Or perhaps you found something different additionally it would be interesting to hear what you found.

Hi @dadko20
I am glad you are finding something helpful in your faith.

From a Christian perspective, we are all made in the image of God. Now what that means is a much longer story, but certain Christianity should not regard those with autism as you say.
