Wrong Planet Site

I tried Wrong Planet when I was first diagnosed in 2017, don't know if it changed since then but it was an odd site.

You get scolded for using a curse word but there was one user who kept posting insane "bait" suggesting that autistic people could get rounded up and placed in camps if certain people were placed in government. He was allowed to post that 24/7. It was odd, I gave up on bothering with the site shortly after

IMHO "certain people" HAVE been placed in government, and some really bad things are going to happen that make what is happening now seem like child's play.

Tree asked ppl not to include politics in this thread any further.
I'd like to talk about it, but not in public.
Feel free to DM me.

I walked from WP though I did go back and have a look more recently.

It still felt toxic.

I'm indifferent about it being down. There were and still are some good people on there though I found it near impossible to make any kind of headway. Always got on with the site staff though.

I haven't been on WP in a long time but I'm glad not to be on it. It's pretty conservative. At the time that was a good echo chamber for me but a bad fit. I like trying to see the whole picture nowadays.
