For me being the rebellious 8 year old I was and wanting to impress a girl it was climbing to the top of the grain elevators in my home town

Sneaking out to attend a concert I didn't even have tickets for then, sneaking past security to meet the band near their tour bus. Got drunk and high that night, after the band rescued me from my irate father. Less than a year later, I was a member of that band and, that's what launched my career, it was because of them that I was there that night to get my first big break with a world class band, they are the reason I never gave up on making music my life and my career.

That sounds awesome tho closest I came to nature was Bambi looking at me like who the heck are u before fleeing back into the woods

No you do. As much as I love my career, it had cost me everything else a few times over. I wouldn't trade it for anything and, I suppose that's why I allow it to take everything else from me, happily but, still a part of me envies those that haven't and, probably never will have to give everything, family, marriages, friends, all of it to keep their careers.

That's indie for ya. I love music but fame and all other stuff comes with territory. Indie means you do things on your own time. I still want to be that guy kissing his wife goodbye before he leaves for work and the kids wrapped around each leg going "Take me with u!!"

Packed a backpack with some food and ran away at the age of ten or eleven I think. I went to a forest and spent most of the day there, walking for hours. When it began to get dark I climbed the biggest tree I could find and used a jacket to tie myself to the branch and went to sleep. Woke up before dawn and looked at another nearby tree, I could see eyes looking at me, it was a lynx in the other tree hiding from a mother bear and cub down below. I'll never forget how beautiful that lynx was and so close.
Sounds pretty awesome but how'd you fall asleep on a tree branch? That sounds uncomfortablez. It'd be possible for me to do that if I went on one of my 3 day video binges, decided to take a sluggish walk and found a tree and said this looks comfy

There were some pretty big trees in that forest when I was that age, may have slept partially sitting up in the crook of two branches. Made a leaf bed I think like monkey's do:) I read too many national geographic's when I was a kid.
I just kind of imagined it like that scene from Jurassic park without the braciasaurous

In elementary school, as a new kid, I got mad and hit the teacher one day, a teacher that all the other kids were afraid of, and that earned me a reputation.

I ran away from school when I should've walked cuz my principal was so fat she stopped chasing at the beginning of woods which isn't that far from playground. I hid behind a tree. "Oh no she's coming I better run" slowmotion
