Women in mens personal space

I guess neither of you id familiar with different cultures, visited our neighbour province, noticed just wash room. no mens and womans wife and I felt like prudes. Really hit home, could not believe the difference between the two sister provinces.

Unisex public bathrooms are pretty common in the US. They typically accommodate only one person at a time so if the door is locked, then it is occupied.

I don't use public bathrooms recently. Totally maximum public bath vists for me were few, with or without lock. Public or not.

Hellsdepartment, if you care, gives me nothing (edit) they do give me Pain and Anxiety though (and a facility/system)

They're very common in Australia too, but not just a single toilet, a dozen stalls and half a dozen urinals and plenty of hand basins. Most people have absolutely no issue with this.

As for the few that do see it as a problem, the problem exists within those people's own character and their own cultural conditioning, what sort of perverse practices are they worried about? When people are worried about this sort of thing it's usually because they believe everyone else in the world is as corrupted and perverted as they are themselves.

In Australia we use more direct language too, it's not a bathroom, there's no bath in there. It's also not a restroom, plenty of homeless people will tell you that if you try to sleep in there security will move you on.

Being raised European, liberal in attitude really notice how prudish of a culture surrounds me liquor control.
bar hours. Slowly changing as others cultures join.

Another thing that happened while I was homeless was the hostel took the residents clay pigeon shooting. I went too. Looking back I wouldn't have went. I have heard that homeless people could have been in prison, possibly violent crimes, even if not ex prisoners they could have still been involved in violence

Britain tried to copy the European style of more casual drinking by allowing places to open 24/7. They thought it might stop the binge drinking rush before closing time, therefore cause less fights and other antisocial behaviour, when all the pubs turfed everyone out at the same time. Some people would hear last orders and buy like 2 or 3 doubles.

After the new legislation instead of suddenly turning into sophisticated drinkers it turned out we just got smashed 24/7! 😁

Yeah I'd have thought having a criminal record would make it hard to get a job and increase likelihood of being homeless. You never know.

We are gradually adjusting as others cultures assimilate.

Using the word "toilet" is becoming more common here, too.

I think some mommies and daddies are worried about letting their little girls use a bathroom that is simultaneously occupied by men peeing in urinals. Just sayin'.....

We have a lot of toilets here which are for both genders, and if they are like that - then there are no urinals, specifically so the problem like this doesn't occur.

No, many people also went through sexual abuse. I wouldn't feel safe in a toilet where I need to pass men who are using urinals. It would scare me a lot.

My sister taught her daughters to use men's toilets when they need to. She said there's usually a queue in women's toilets where as in the men's toilets the cubicles are mostly unused. I've seen quite a few women do this, they might get some strange looks (usually from other women) but there's never an issue with it.
