Poirot, Murder she wrote, Colombo. There's a time in my life when I also watched Mexican, Brazilian and msybe some other Latin American countries soap. I got bored pretty quickly though. And of course - X files!
Wsit, what was the name of that show...
Moonlighting? Yep, it was...
Oh, how could I forget the Charmed!!! I was in my late teens, 20s when I watched some of those shows, but it should still qualify, considering I'm 36 now :)

My parents were pretty restrictive of my TV time, so the only two I can name off the top of my head are Sesame Street, and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood...both of which I still think were wonderful, and excellent influences on a young person. :)

Are you SURE we aren't twins separated at birth?! Especially every single one (and I mean every single one) of the PBS shows you mentioned.

The things that happen in a two-channel universe:

Newhart
Kate and Allie
You Can't Do That On Television
Good Rockin' Tonite
Video Hits
The Beachcombers
Wayne and Shuster
Hockey Night in Canada
The Littlest Hobo (changing the channel after the theme was over because that was much better than the rest of the show)
Mary Tyler Moore
Hilarious House of Frightenstein
Knight Rider (because everyone watched Knight Rider)
Lots of news
Night Court

I was raised by TV. If someone in the house wanted to know what was on that night, they'd ask me instead of looking at the TV guide thing.

3rd Rock From The Sun hasn't been mentioned yet!

A couple more:

The Muppet Show
The Wonder Years
Family Ties
Allo Allo
Harry and the Hendersons
The Young Ones
Blackadder
Hey, Arnold!
Poirot
Inspector Morse
Tour of Duty
The Addams Family (the 60s version)
Batman (same, hilarious)
Fawlty Towers
Bottom
Mr. Bean
Happy Days
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
The Simpsons
Cheers
Duckman
Full House
Boy Meets World
MacGyver
Magnum P.I.
Alf
My Secret Identity
Babar
Skippy The Bush Kangaroo

something with a rather scruffy dog in the lead; don't recall the name
Frasier
Seinfeld
Club Dorothé
Zorro
Young Indiana Jones
Beavis & Butthead
A Bit of Fry & Laurie
Top of the Pops
MTV!

The News

Oh, and 90s infomercials (The sobakawa pillow), which always came on rather fittingly after some late night show about cult cinema.

You watched infomercials, too? Lol, I thought I may have been the only one! I remember all the Suzanne Summers exercise stuff, the "lose weight by breathing in a particular way" one lol, the stuff for ponytails, Hooked on Phonics, and last but not least, the great Tony Little and his exercise machine.

And...the Flowbee Hair Cutting System

Amusing to see some of you mentioned "The Wonder Years". I watched it as well, but as an adult- not a child. However as for those particular years, I lived them at precisely the same time the character Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) did.

I just didn't have a girlfriend named "Winnie" back then...
