What have you done that is courageous?

Boy, this post is hitting me hard. Watching someone fight tail end of renal failure. Realizing the medical system is just going to run them thru a zillion tests and still possibly reject him for transplant. Researching other quicker avenues, having to relay all this to him, and family members. And stressed about post-op complications, and still trying not cry.
