Works for me on my phone. It takes a few seconds for the avatar and user to pop up after I've typed the @ and a few letters though.

I was wondering too. Some show and others that used to don't now.

The little mini-avatars have been gone for months.
They show, briefly, when I am writing a post, but
when I 'post reply'.....the name doesn't display any
image, just the username.

I remember another time when it was this way.

Well, at least it's not just me. It's rather ironic when you think about it, because for a site that's focused on Aspies who hate change, there seems to be a lot of change taking place.

For me, anything more than a couple items is too much. It upsets my delicate balance.

Seriously, it's not a big deal, but more of a curiosity; though I do miss the avatars.
