University Starting soon - Anxiety

Hello guys, this is going to be my second year in informatics engineering -what I always loved, computers, and everything about it; programming, technology, etc...-.

Last year, I didn't have anxiety because I simply didn't attend classes, I decided not to go to classes and got books from the library, passed every subject of engineering but two classes, which I will have to take this year in the second semester-.

Now this year I promised my mother I would try to go to class because she was worried about me spending too much time at home, plus she thinks teachers can help me in some way.

7th of September I start again. Any tips on how to deal with this kind of situation / environment?

Thank you!

I like Kestrel's advice! College is a rough time. Use your phone to set up reminders to track classes, when papers are due, etc.

Best of luck to you!

Also, most if not all colleges have a "disability services department" that may be able to help you as long as you make yourself known to them. You may even be able to help them (or your teacher) understand your needs by showing them this page: http://www.schoolbehavior.com/disor...m-tips-for-students-with-asperger’s-disorder/

Additionally, this page has some helpful tips that you may be able to use: http://autism.about.com/od/transitioncollegejobs/a/mjohnsontips.htm

Good luck, tomorrow! You got this!
