TV - Infomercials.

Even I'll admit it's weird. I do not ever really watch television. I do like having the TV on though (in the background).

But, at times, when an Infomercial comes on I will actually stop what I'm doing and watch it. Not always but often.

I do not know why this is exactly: I am not interested in ever buying the item being advertised nor do I.

I think I just find these extended commercials soothing, calming for some reason. Strange. Perhaps it is equivalent to a stim of sorts for me.

You might enjoy Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job. They often have that slant in surrealism that you may enjoy zoning out to...Requiem for a Dream style. :P

I'm ok with Infomercials. They inform, and they advertise things - so I know what to buy and what not to buy

When my younger son had trouble sleeping and I strolled him to sleep in a living room I spent many nights with TV on. After certain time at night some channels have infomercials on. So I would watch the same adds over and over again until morning :)
