Trying to get Diagnosis

Hello,

My daughter is 26 years old. She has seen several professionals, all of which say she does not have aspergers. They say she has social anxiety disorder. From my research, and as her Mom, you cannot tell me that she does not have aspergers. There are so many other characteristics that she displays and has displayed her whole life. Where can I go for help and a proper diagnosis?

Maybe it will help to say where you live? I'm in Australia so the places here will differ to elsewhere, for example.

If she is in the spectrum but it doesn't interfere too much on her life you can just leave it. I always think people that have aspergers know it, the way you sense the world is so different and your logical thinking smashes social conventions. If she's got strong traits, don't doubt it.
