I say ape-ricot. (Even though there's no primates around ;)). So I guess it's a long a.

I’m not into sports either, so it would be neither for me, also.

Air dry or hair dryer?
 
Neither for me either. I probably would have been better at soccer in school. (Actually, in some countries the game that’s known as soccer in the US is actually called football.)
