The X-Files is returning to Fox for six episodes

Well, they had a kid. Now the question is whether or not they'll continue to call each other by their last names.

What say you, Mulder, Scully ? :p

By now Skinner must be Director of the FBI...so he's probably not coming back. They have to get "Cancer Man" back though. Wouldn't be "The X-Files" without him!

Agreed. Making a show like that would just be a waste of funds that could be better spent. They're even making one for the final episodes of Mad Men. What would the show even discuss? It's not like Lost or anything that relies on huge twists and cliffhangers every week that leave you discussing and dissecting the episode for the rest of the week.

But that's the same with The talking dead. What should they discuss? Who lives and who dies? I mean, I watched it once, but it's pretty much just fan service to invite some actors from the show as and some other celebrities to talk about what happened in the show you just watched an hour ago.

Yeah I only watched a few episodes of Talking Bad and there was no reason to watch more than that, I have no understanding of why more that type of show spread to other AMC shows. It's either cast/crew members refusing to say too much because of spoilers or celebrity guests generally going overboard to the point of becoming annoying just quoting lines or moments and praising every aspect even if the quality of the episode wasn't to standard.
