Okay, so, as the title of the thread suggests, the loudspeaker on my smartphone has failed, twice now. Both times it just went suddenly and without warning. Nothing had happened to the phone to my knowledge, physically. I took good care of the phone, taking care never to drop it or have it be exposed to any pressure in any way. There was no water damage or damage of any kind that it was subject to.
Why the loudspeaker specifically?
I had the loudspeaker replaced the first time it stopped functioning, thinking a mobile phone shop could fix the problem. But within a couple of weeks, the loudspeaker stopped functioning again?
I am done with this phone now, but I do wonder what has happened from a technical standpoint? Why would the same type of part fail twice within a matter of a couple of months? Could it be a problem with the equivalent of the phone's motherboard? I know regular computers have a motherboard but I have never opened a phone personally like I have with a regular computer...
