The loss of an old friend.

They are common here Outdated. Ours is a gas cooker ( on top)
The actual oven is electric ( weird I know)
The oven part is a fan assisted electrical element.

I've packed the work in , too many miles, companies pretending to be green but sending me on 4 hour journeys for silly faults when they had sparkies up that way anyway.

Took the van back , phoned them up " your van is down here cleaned, keys in it - better come down soon"

I do a few hours self employed, any handyman job and log it on the .gov website.
So now I pay a very low tax and life is good.

You're obviously not dumb then. Quality of life is a lot more important than the tax man would like you to believe.
 
I agree, it took me years of stress and the bs gets worse as time goes on , cameras in vehicles, trackers on vehicles.

Not for me, too old :D
