The little hazards of living alone and remembering little tasks.

I tried living alone. I would just sit there until a change happened to trigger my mind into action, so this change would be usually when I noticed that it was dark.
I realized that though I tend to be used to doing almost everything alone, I need someone to be around in the background as their movement keeps my brain triggered so I can get on with my own things (Whatever they may be). Without this movement my brain can just go into mind blank as I sit there and time slips away.

I am glad my Mum is here.

I once noticed it was 0030, all my windows were open and I was very cold. It was hours past my bedtime, I did not know time had passed at all.

I had a roommate once, autistic. He left his bedroom window open, it was 29ºF/-1.6ºC outside and in our house.

Have you ever stood outside the bathroom and did not know if you needed to go or you had just gone? This used to happen to me a lot at work.

Sometimes I would have to feel and poke my stomach to know if I had eaten.

No, but I have suddenly become thirsty to realize I haven't had a drink etc.

You would think, to drink water would be a natural thing, Have had the same issues for years , Actually had to go to Emergency one evening for dehydration . And I think it goes beyond perseverations on projects or things . Thought my body wasn't holding onto water due to low salt intake . But the Doctor thought different . But oddly enough the Saline solution they put into me has a salt component to it ...?

I was thinking. They keep trying to take salt out of things these days, but years ago before fridges and freezers, they used to preserve meats by rubbing them with salt. It didn't harm anyone. They may have only lived to 40 but they had long healthy lives.
