The "Critic" Career

Is the career of movie critic still a viable and good job? I have a special talent for critiquing movies, seeing both flaws and good qualities.

I doubt it with the way the Internet is these days...

Maybe you could start a movie blog? I hear people get lucky and make money or a full living blogging...

In the most conventional sense I'd think that's such a small community in the world of entertainment and media that it's very, very difficult to achieve. Though considering broader professions like journalism and writing may lead you closer in that direction.

Otherwise most anyone can post their opinions online. Though it doesn't mean they carry any weight with the public- or the media. The trick is having something more than that alone to promote yourself in such a capacity.
