The Climate and Weather thread

Where would be the perfect climate you like to be all the time?

Also, what would be the weather you like?

The place I used to live in was like that too, Sportster. The winters were brutally cold and the summers were boiling, and we were threatened by tornadoes. (The funny thing is that whenever a line of storms was headed for us, it often broke up and went around us... it was weird but we were glad.) I don't know for sure how it is where I live now because I've only lived here for a month. However, I'd like to live somewhere that's mild and dry. I don't like extreme temperatures and humidity.

I need to be cool...very cool. Global warming stinks. Where does that climate exist? Scottish highlands? Parts of Argentina and Chile? Tuktoyaktuk?

In three months it will be very hot and I will wish to die because having air conditioning is a bad idea in this specific apartment. :(

Here in the central lowlands of Scotland we have quite a mild climate, winters cold but above freezing half the time and and summers mostly cool to warm with rain every few days. I just wish the summers were sunnier and warmer and more predictable. I think my ideal climate would be central France or northern Italy. In Scotland May, June, and July are beautiful because of all the daylight, as it is only dark for about 5 hours although December and January can be depressing with the lack of light. One negative thing about the Scottish highlands in summer is the midges as they love the warm damp climate.
