I recently posted my first thread in the introduction section, and i just want to say i'm so incredibly grateful for the feedback i've recieved since then. I've been in such a hopeless mindset for the past month and a half and I'd completely forgotten that it was possible for people to care so much, until i came here.

It genuinely makes me want to cry from joy, relief, and sadness all at once because not only have i been getting support after so long (even if just from strangers) i've slowly been coming to terms with how truly not that okay the way my parents treat me is, and that hurts. More than most things.

That aside, I'll definitely be posting here more often because this community is just so kind and understanding, more than i expected. I just wanted to say thank you. to everyone who left a comment, to everyone who's wished me the best, thank you. It makes things just a but more brighter for me each time i see a new comment on the thread and uh i just wanna start ugly bawling :,) 🫂

(P.S./edit) I'll probably post casual little updates in the other section, like my art or insects i find or anything i feel like really

You’re quite welcome. We are delighted you are here. Sometimes the best gifts are from strangers,

This summer I went on a remote canoe trip in Quebec and the very nicest of strangers were so helpful.

I'd love to see your art! I find creating art (if no one's going to see it) very therapeutic. When it comes to showing it, I get a little anxious. But it's still fun.

Also for you is your profile at this forum, you can leave a snapshot of what caught your interest, art, music, recipe, a random cartoon, a funny joke, etc. Look for new profile posts.
