Excellent cast, ~~~ better than decent writers--
If you were a fan of jj abrams reboots, this is a fantastic series, so far:
Young Spock, his adopted human sister,
Capt. Pike is kind of the secondary story, but to me, he is the real story here, and Anson Mount was a cunning casting choice.
