I definitely am a sock-sock-shoe-shoe person. I am curious how others approach this.
Sometimes my socks do not match; however, my shoes always do.

I hate wearing shoes, I much prefer to get around barefoot. When I was living in the tropics for more than a decade I didn't even own a pair of shoes. Much different now I'm back down in temperate climes.

I wear socks without shoes a lot because my feet get cold. I go outside like that too.

I'm a bit pedantic about socks though, they're always paired correctly and I never have one odd sock in the wash.

[Edit] probably TMI, I have large calf muscles from riding bikes all my life and I've never been able to pull the legs of my jeans up over my calves, so if I want to pull my socks up I have to drop my pants to do it. :)

I was thinking, "Surely, nobody does it differently than this.." and so far I'm right. We all voted the same.

One of the joys of summer to me. Seldom wearing socks indoors. But after the first week of October those socks usually feel pretty good.

I don't think I ever wore socks that didn't match.

I voted other: shoe-shoe-sock-sock. ;)

Just kidding.
However, one day at work I discovered that I was wearing two different socks and two different shoes. Very embarrassing.

I only wear short socks that come up to my ankles. "normal" length socks drives me crazy.

Socks and dress shoes for the job, socks and walking boots when I am not at my job.
