Sleep App Recommendations

I’ve been using the Sleep Score app, but recently deleted the app from my iPhone. I have difficulty staying asleep and average 4.5-5 hours sleep per night despite taking 25 mg Doxepin and 10 mg melatonin an hour before going to bed. The SleepScore app sends these annoying messages daily with tips and challenges to change sleep hygiene habits, as if I haven’t already tried improving sleep hygiene. I deleted the app because it does not consider that the user might have sensory issues or general anxiety associated with an autism spectrum disorder.

Does anyone use a sleep app that you like, that doesn’t spam or message you with useless suggestions?

I get a score and a diagram via Fitbit, my Fitbit watch measures my sleep. It's actually often very good, and it's interesting to see how much I am awake or dreaming or sleeping deeply or lightly. It doesn't usually suggest anything.

The Fitbit measures my steps too, how many calories I use in exercise, how active I am etc. Occasionally it pops a message or suggestion up. Mostly I ignore them but sometimes they're interesting.

First time I heard of it, so no.

I suffer from moderate sleep apnea and so, after many years of actually sleeping too much, it is the opposite now and I get around 4 to 5 hours of sleep. And that is even using the machine for sleep apnea, but told it will get better.

I have an obsession for getting up at 5:30 am at the moment and have found, because of that early hour, I go to sleep between 8 and 9pm and do sleep, but wake up either at midnight or 1am and from there, it is just sort of dozing and then, I end up getting woken abruptly by my alarm ( yep, that obsession makes me have a need to get out of bed at that hour, so in case, I don't wake up, my alarm does), but a few times, it has woken me from a deep sleep, so I am giving myself a break and will not set the alarm for sunday lol and hope that I can catch up on lost sleep.

Oh and I was going to ask for sleeping pills, but from what you say, perhaps I won't ask lol

I will consider Fitbit. Does Fitbit interact with and apps?

Yes there's an App on my tablet, and the watch sends the info to the app, so I can see graphs and diagrams of my sleep, my exercise, my steps, I can count calories if I want to, and how much water I drink, I like the sleep and the exercise features most.

Thanks! I will give Fitbit a try.
