Can it be said that alot of people on the Autism Spectrum relate to geometric patterns - patterns which blur the lines between Abstract art, and Representational art styles?

A geometric pattern viewing an apartment-block through a window screen.

People on the Autism Specctrum might treat geometric patterns with much interest. People on the Spectrum might also treat mathematical guidlines esp. in the arts with much interest.

I was once informed about 'The Power of Nines' rule in the arts - that is, where an artist keeps in mind that a given image might best be presented with nine visible parts.

In creating the above image, I had kept 'The Power of Nines' in mind -yet, the main part of this image consists of a 9 by 9 grid of 81 windows (9 * 9=81 windows).

This image contains 81 main parts (the windows). The 82nd part is are the wall surrounding the windows - plus the blue sky, and two parts of the frame. Without counting the counting the screen squares, this image has 85 main parts.

Go figure!
