Wow, both of those are really good. That owl in particular.
I sure wish I could paint like that.
I guess I can share some things here too:
The quality of my drawn or painted stuff leaps all over the place since I have no bloody idea what I'm doing. The heart with the chains and hooks is the most recent of the drawn stuff.
I dont show drawings or paintings often. Most of my stuff looks very childish, I never had any proper instruction on this so I've had to just wing it.
Exactly how much pain I'm in at any given time also messes with it. The pink haired girl is my favorite of the stuff I've made, but all the lines are rather wobbly, the chronic pain was getting to me that day.
I have another character portrait half finished, they take absolutely forever to make. People always say that drawing eyes is frustrating, but for me it's drawing the overall head shape. Just... wont... come... out... right... The red-haired girl there, I musta spent like 2 straight hours just drawing the head shape over and over again, just about went mad. And yes I always draw the hair like that.
The stuff that clearly isnt drawings are all fractals, that's the main type of art I make, and the only digital sort. Well, the creepy thing with the hands is digital art, but I *really* dont like drawing with the stupid iPad, so that's one of the only things I ever made with it. All other digital stuff is fractals and done on my PC here.
Unlike with the drawings/paintings I actually do know what I'm doing when it comes to fractals, been doing it for years now.
Takes forever though. The 3D ones in particular are part of drastically larger and infinitely recursive structures, so that complicates things just a tad.
