I am surprised Scotland, UK allow potentially harmful gambling, especially in a pub where many Scots struggle with alcohol misuse. I don't understand after Scotland banned tobacco ads

They tend to build bookies in low income areas and stuff them full of Fixed Odds Betting Terminals. It's pretty predatory.I am surprised Scotland, UK allow potentially harmful gambling, especially in a pub where many Scots struggle with alcohol misuse. Now i want to watch it.Oh.
I thought this was going to be about the
kind of addictions on that t.v. show, My Strange Addiction.
Things like drinking nail polish, eating toilet paper (or rocks,
sand, cat food), falling in love with inflatable swim toys,
marrying your car......
Stuff like that.
Sometimes the person's friends advise going to a doctorNow i want to watch it.
I would think they would call that a compulsion more so than an addiction.Sometimes the person's friends advise going to a doctor
to gain information regarding the safety of their habits.
Like whether it's a good plan to chew on your baby's
peed diapers. Or to use bees to sting yourself 30+ times a day.
Or eat all the foam rubber stuffing from your couch.
Sometimes the person actually gives up the addiction.
But not always.....

That doesn't look like you have to pay anything for the ticket -- it looks like something a patron of the pub is given automatically upon entry...I am surprised Scotland, UK allow potentially harmful gambling, especially in a pub where many Scots struggle with alcohol misuse.
