Seeing God's justice for problematic conditions

Hi everyone, I am a Christian and started a post in another forum about their thoughts about problematic conditions that may seem to cause sin and what are their thoughts. They tend to like laying things flat out there and I don't post there very much, but like getting their opinions sometimes.

I found some of their opinions hopeful and wanted to share the thread with you. I will share the opening post and then link to it. It is there forum I don't want to post the whole thread here-I didn't want to say much about my life very much as I don't know them very well...but there is enough to go on. I wanted to see what they say and the last paragraph there as I really didn't want to talk about myself but to see their opinion and the last paragraph is not my opinion, but a sometimes thought question.

I know some people have a lot of issues with being overwhelmed and thinking life is over if they sin during it. We can have a discussion about it here.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone can help can with this question.
I know when judgement comes it is the Spirit and the Soul which will go before God. The body with all its conditions will be destroyed I think.

Now me I have conditions. The conditions I have I had them from childhood and they were not my fault and God has showed me mercy and support with them. One I got from sin in the world and my own nature being driven ended up with an eating disorder at 14 when over controlled and other life events, but had food issues from 8. I am doing better with this today but at times have been near death and God saved my life.

Anyway, I have mentioned the other one before which is autism, I have moderate to severe sensory needs with it. It is a blessing to me but it has its drawbacks.

I know when judgement comes God will take into account that I had conditions and was affected, but I still do my best and go out fighting like everyone else.

Now, say if someone had alcoholism and that conditions was plain nasty at times for some people. At death they will go into the ground. Say if this condition could even say to the owner to hurt themselves and say bad things about others and times even seeming worthy of hell themselves. Will they go scot free these conditions some can say pretty hurtful and evil things at times some not all of them. Or will they see God's justice?

Hope you can understand my question.

I do understand your question. I have wondered and worried about the same thing but in the past couple years God has lead me to some wisdom. One thing to know is that God loves us all so much, we can't even comprehend it. He really is on our side. The other thing is that once you have salvation, which you get simply by placing your faith in Jesus for what he did, he died to pay the price for our sins, we get to go to heaven only because of what he did, not because of anything we can do, except believe in him. So once you have salvation, thats it. You're saved, you are going to heaven. God forgives us and has mercy on us for our shortcomings, and our issues we have through no fault of our own. I realize there are still several unanswered questions like why do we have these afflictions, etc. but the bottom line is if you trust that Jesus died for your sins you are saved despite anything you do. Except outright denial of the holy Spirit, but again that's outside the scope of this topic I think
 
Thank you late40ontheground that was a really lovely post to read this morning and a reminder for everyone of us. I have been getting some insults of late from one condition and so it got me thinking. It wasn't me who was doing this it was them.

It got me thinking though as that was a condition and not me. I also have like this tourette's which can bleep out words to in physical distress or when very overwhelmed. When I never realised this earlier in my life it caused me to be very overwhelmed as they said something I didn't want and felt it was down to me. God clearly understood as he gave me healing after without asking for two. So clearly what they said was forgiven and wasn't my fault and God has very much stood by me with my autism since with the Holy Spirit intervening when overwhelmed. I love my faith, but I try and be obedient and get worried sometimes. In 2014 before diagnosis it caused me to stop eating pretty much when a bleeped word came out which were not my fault. Diagnosis has helped me to forgive myself when being overwhelmed. They are all about love though God.

Sin unto the Holy Ghost they say is not forgiven in this next life or the next. Me I have not done this and the Kray stories are a reminder that one of the brothers who did large numbers of crimes sins to were forgiven when he became a Christian.
