Question on personal projects

I was wanting to share a personal project under the Computer, Science & Technology sub-forum, but I didn't know if it would be allowed due to the no advertising rule. It is a website that allows you to upload a video and tests you on emotional recognition, and I was wanting input on how I could make it better. I've tried to search for existing posts, but wasn't able to find anything. I hope this is the appropriate place to ask this question.
 
I think so long as you are not trying to make money off of it, but just share it, it would be ok. But I am not a mod.
