Just saw the f word in an album about sex songs and no as usual I was not looking for it. If the word does not origin from sex why the heck is sex always full of f words?

When used as an informal modal particle, it can be used to mean or accentuate just about anything. As actor Al Pacino can attest to in the film "Scarface".

Far less bastardized languages are more likely to have their own formal modal particles and don't have to be so informal- or creative about it. German has a word similar to this one, but to my knowledge it's never used as a modal particle. But then unlike English, their language already has formal modal particles.

When I first started hearing so many people that use it, (about every other word), I thought how silly.
To me it's like saying sex constantly to a person or an inanimate object.

Now I live with someone who uses it about every other word.
Example: "What the...I don't understand this F- paper!"
And I gig him back by saying no wonder you don't understand it.
A paper that's having sex?

Sorry people, who use it constantly...but, that's how I feel.

Correction: there are 8 ways to say the F word in Polish.
I won’t post any of them here.
Or any Spanish swear words (I’m Hispanic, not Polish. But Eastern Europe and Northern Europe are special interests.)

But my favorite profanity is “You look like half an ass from behind a bush.” Lol.
I guess the English variant would be “You look like [poop.]”

The word you're bothered by originates in the
early 16th century and is of Germanic origin.
There is a Swedish dialect word and a Dutch dialect word that both sound very similar.
The word itself is possibly from an Indo-European root meaning ‘strike’, shared by Latin pugnus ‘fist’.

So, the crude use in songs is sometimes about sex, but not always.
Nobody says "sexual intercourse yourself" to be friendly.
It's more in line with the meaning of doing physical harm.
