Plans for Christmas Day

One of my Christmas traditions is to listen to the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols by the Kings College Choir in Cambridge. The music is transcendent and the lessons, though no longer relevant to my life exactly, still have the comfort of remembered childhood.

This was yesterday, on Christmas Eve.

What a day...

A decent day in Banff, some good food, great mountain views

Very end of the day as we explored a light display my friend fell rather hard on some ice (~ 9:30 PM), so we went to the hospital emergency department, he was discharged at 2 AM (yes AM), drove back home (one hour drive), got into the house at 4 PM!

My friend is okay other than a mild concussion, just some resting up was prescribed, but that was a rather long day! But thankful my friend wasn't hurt too bad... It's now 4:26, and I am off to bed and I will be sleeping in, thankfully I have nothing on the go tomorrow (is that today? I'm rather confused o_O)

Good night all
