It was a good day out
Great photos. Reminiscent of some of the Life Magazine photo spreads. Where in Alberta are the hills you pictured?
It's park called Dinosaur Park, a separate area of badlands downstream from the more well known Drumheller area
More great work, @Sherlock77 . You inspire me. I live in an area with lots of old barns and settler shacks. Maybe this is the year. This shoot reminds me of the Utah badlands, where everything reeks of loneliness.

I love how we shoot the same scenes and come out with entirely different images. He does good work. I can't wait to hit some car shows with him.

The colour shots all wound up looking just sad and underwhelming. I needed to strategically place @Sherlock77 and his green sweater in them and then they may have worked better.

We probably went too early in the springtime, before more colour gets into the landscape, good thing it's not a long drive away, an easy day trip...

In the eye of the beholder, I guess. I live rurally, yet that area hits me as remote. So the early spring light resonates with that, gives it a washed out look. Butter over too much toast. Works for me.
