Pharmacist today

I didn't like the attitude of the pharmacist who took my prescriptions from mental health nurse and a GP today. The pharmacist didn't allow me to explain that the GP prescribed one of the meds by mistake and didn't allow me to keep that one and just tried to grab them all of me, poor customer service if you ask me, especially someone with conditions like me!

I may have misunderstood. Your GP prescribed one by mistake and the pharmacist wouldn't let you keep it? That just seems like pharmacist is being conscientious and doing their job

Did you tell him it was a mistake? He has ethical protocols that he needs to follow, to keep his position.

Perhaps it might have involved a concern of professional liability between the pharmacist and your GP. A matter which literally would have been "out of your hands".

The sort of thing that neither party wants to elaborate on to a patient. - Ethical protocols indeed.
