Open University for visual learners

Hi,

I'm looking into studying again (I've done 8 courses in the last 15 years, and only finished half of them!) I love learning and it keeps my mind focused, which keeps depression at bay, but I've realised that I am a visual learner. Perhaps this is where I've been going wrong? I passed a maths module with the open uni, but not sure I could do a whole degree in it!
Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the open uni and found their course materials suitable for AS? I was thinking of physics /astronomy, but I'm not sure if my processing difficulties will make this a good choice?
Sandy
