Odds and Ends, the AC miscellaneous box: Post a random whatever!

Sometimes I feel my heart beating
and I think, "Why was I born to die?"
It all started with our far back ancestors, going into their heads, bringing stress into their lives which aged them prematurely. I don't know if I agree with the bible that people would have lived forever, but I do think they should have lived longer. I don't disagree with it. Have you ever heard of the immortal jellyfish? Apparently it is a creature that can reverse its age whenever it gets old, becoming young again.

Yesterday I overheard a random conversation:

A: Medicinal cannabis has only just been made legal. I don't know why it's taken them so long, I mean it cures so many people.
B: Yes, that's exactly the reason - it cures people!

I overheard my daughter telling a friend: “I have dark blond hair because of my mom, who also has it like this. What happens is that she colors it, that’s why it looks dark brown”.

No kid!!!! That’s my natural color!! I color it because of white hair!

Apparently, it is possible to literally die of laughter. Someone actually died of laughter while watching The Goodies. (I don't think it was laughter they died of, more likely a heart attack) I wonder which sketch they were watching? How ironic it would be if they had been watching Monty Python's 'killer joke' sketch.

how common are different, single, block coloured blooms from the same stem?
