Hello, I'm new here, a university student. I've always noticed that I wasn't the "same" as most others. Its always been hard to make friends, even seen as early as preschool. Recently I've transferred to a larger university and things have started to fall apart as I've done my best to hide it but its getting harder to with more people around. Some bits including:

No idea how to make small talk
Can't deal with different smells (mostly international students and lack of deodorant)
Hate walking through large crowds, especially if people on bikes/skateboards are going through
All sports, nope, just nope (I can't throw a ball)
I can't make eye contact without it getting weird
Have no idea how to know if someone is sad/ happy/ tired/ drunk unless they say so
Professors will say something sarcastically and I don't find out until later
No time management
Very rigid morning schedule (see time management)
If someone tries to talk to me and I'm not ready, I freeze
And I "hand fart", its on youtube...just look up "manualist" but I do this more randomly when stressed

There's more, but the only thing that seems to help is scheduled isolation in a school day. Sorry for the list, but hey, its an introduction

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to AC. From your list of traits and behaviors, this would seem a good place to learn more about yourself. Sounds like you have much in common with many of us.
