My iPhone has 8 pages of icons, including 14 folders. (That’s all the categories I could be bothered sorting.) Delete apps? Why would I do that? I still have apps on there that no longer run on the current IOS, just in case one day the developers upload an update. My background is the iPhone default “starfield”, which is inoffensive and I don’t have to think about it.

(My Android phone is waiting for me to replace the battery, and the screen I cracked trying to replace the battery. I read the iFixit page thinking it was for my model, but it was for a slightly different model with a completely different sequence of actions. One of my old iPads is also waiting for a screen repair, involving tedious removal of broken glass fragments using a heat gun. It had unfortunately gone for a ride on my car, as opposed to in my car.)
