I was wondering, which tablet brand do you think is the most underrated?

As much as I am a Samsung fan, I would probably say the most underrated is Lenovo. They seem to make reasonable Android tablets for the money and are a good choice for those who prefer a more stock Android experience or those who are not into the Samsung ecosystem. I would recommend a cheap Lenovo tablet over an Amazon Fire tablet (which I think are overrated) any day. I bought my mom a Lenovo M10 Plus 3rd Gen.

On the downside, Lenovo isn't as good as Samsung at providing software updates. Also, accessories (both first-party and third-party) are not as readily available for Lenovo tablets as they are for Apple, Samsung, or Amazon.
 
I was going to say "XP Pen, hands down!" but then I realized you weren't talking about drawing tablets.

I don't really have a dog in the fight when it comes to general-purpose tablets; if they allow me to read books in bed, that's all I really need. That means they all check that box :D
