Meeting with Social Worker

Hi,

I have a meeting with a social worker from the local Adult Services Asperger Team on Monday. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen a social worker recently and can tell me what to expect.

I've had some treatment from the NHS, which did n't really make any difference. I need some help with free-floating anxiety, advice and coaching in social skills and help dealing with noise. I don't think just telling me to join a club/society/support group would work right now. I could also do with some help dealing with another problem of long term pain, which the NHS does n't seem to be able to help with or diagnose.

I suppose what i want at the moment is some therapy coupled with some sort of mentoring/advice service but I don't know if such a thing exists.

Thanks
