Math tutor

Can someone tutor me at math?

What kind of math are you doing?

There are on-line tutorials like these,
that offer lessons:
https://www.purplemath.com/
http://www.math.com/

And there are sites where you can ask a
question and have a real person explain to you
what you are trying to understand.

I have used a site like that.
http://www.freemathhelp.com/ask-an-expert.html

Or are you looking for a person, In Real Life or on-line,
to work with you individually, for awhile?

Are you good at math?

I have taught a couple people
first and second year Algebra.
Also...basic math [first grade
through middle school].

I don't know any calculus or
trig.

I'm not qualified to tutor or help you with algebra, but I'll tell you that you're not alone (as an aspie) in struggling with it. When I was in high school, I got straight A's in geometry & trig, but got C-'s & D's in any algebra based class......

I know this doesn't help you with getting thru your courses, but in the big picture it's a visual interpretation thing: Geometry, Trigonometry & Physics I've always been able to touch, see & understand but when it comes to algebra with it's abstract Greek letters that are supposed to mean something....... We'll I guess I just don't speak Greek.

I hope Tree & wyverary's suggestions help, but don't give up on math as a whole: Just like in life, you need to find and run with the flavors that you excel in.
