Made up words & the definition

Since the plural of 'index' is 'indices', I believe the plural of 'asterisk' is 'asterices' (it makes more sense verbally than written).
 
Schmoo (shhh-mooo),
Any edible substance that is creamy or gelatinous in nature, ie; mayonnaise, butter, creamy salad dressings, mustard etc.
Note: I cannot stand to even get this stuff on my hands, YUCK!!!
