Just yesterday I wrote something similar in another forum, the topic was Self Advocacy, an area in which I do not lack.

-------

An ego, a belief in yourself is the most important thing, and you will never develop a true belief in yourself if you always try to compare yourself to others. Stop trying to be someone that other people admire and start being someone that you yourself admire.

That’s way harder than it sounds. It’s a bit of a catch 22 situation because the way other people respond to us affects the way we feel about ourselves. Simple fact: If you don’t have respect for yourself then others will not respect you either. It takes hard work to turn that around.

When I’m out socialising people recognise pretty quickly that there’s something different about me although they’re never really able to put their finger on what it is. They mostly accept me and like me though because I like myself and I like who I am and that is projected in the way I present myself.

I actually don’t care what other people think of me because I like me and my opinion is the only one that matters.

This is interesting. I haven’t seen meltdowns broken down into stages before, but this is very much how I experience them

LOL. I often refer to the word "normal" in most contexts as "the n word".

Trying not to use it at all. ;)

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Exactly. But then again, when I'm in the audHyperactivity part of my cycle I can do a million things! Start a million projects ...I can do ANYTHING ...til crash and burn hits.
