List just one thing you did today

I made supper for the fam fam. Grilled chicken breasts, roasted beets, roasted sweet potato, grilled onions, and mini garlic toast (thin French baguette slices fried in garlic butter).

Great until I hit the paywall. Now I'm not sure where it's going. Every pathway ends up with a paywall. I came in 5th place in the weekly board after I had only studied 4 days in a field that I previously knew nothing about, but - the paywall.😔
 
Finding out a good customer of mine passed this morning and thinking about his family. He was one of my best customers at my auto salvage yard, paid me on the spot. Helped out each other at the auctions, remembered he wanted a 2006 Cadillac escalade at one towing yard auction, I out bid the person bidding against him and he was happy to get it on the last bid he made. It was the same with me with a 2013 Taurus, he got outbid the other person bidding against me and got it on the last bid I made. His son is just like him and is glad I have been there for him and his family
 
Life is feeling so fragile recently. Just the sheer ability to roll forward everyday with all the nuances that filter thru and make me question my existence. We had another fatality on the state road running by my complex. l have seen many accidents on this road. Today, l enjoyed salted carmel dark chocolate bar. Cooked a sumptuous dinner for my person.
 
Get up early this morning and was there early at my auto salvage yard so far. Core buyer came to buy my transmission cores I got in. Bought every one of them, was about 50 of them. Check I got was deposited into the bank already
 
As some of you know, there's a dangerous winter storm happening across the southern part of the US. Our power just went out but the Generac turned on so we're okay. The trees and bushes look like they're wearing ice droplet diamonds. We reached today's high temperature of 29 degrees F earlier this morning. The low tonight is about 17 degrees. We aren't used to this down here in the tropics!

I have to refill all the birdfeeders again. The birds look frantic, gobbling down seeds.

I guess I'll make some potato soup in the crockpot for dinner. It uses little electricity compared with our electric stove and I love the smell of something tasty simmering all day in the kitchen.

Please pray for us if you are so inclined. I'm okay but millions of people are in harm's way of this storm and don't have the resources that I have. They'll be without electricity for who-knows-how-long and the shelters are already filling up. The roads are already icy and undriveable.
