List just one thing you did today

Enjoyed a nice slow stress free day at work. I like this time of year not for the holidays, but for it being year end and that means projects are mostly wrapped up and the office slows down until the new year when planning for the next round of construction begins.

Doctor appointment to get disability certificate signed off so I can use disabled parking spots. He extended it for five years, next inflection point. 75 to 76. Interesting to see if I survive that long. Will miss saying nailed it.

Very happy to have finally replaced my pocket knife today. I always carry a small folding pocket knife, I think it's probably one of the most useful items you can carry regularly. Long story short at a concert a few months back I'd forgotten to take it out of my pocket at the hotel and at the concert had to forfeit to security. The next day I picked up a replacement but it never felt right. It was just too big and bulky. So just now I went and picked up the same slim model I'd had before and I feel like all is right in the world again.

I had to divest myself of my favorite pocket knife before flying to Switzerland. But I need to have a knife, especially because part of the time I would be camping. So I bought a small but nifty Swiss Army knife that was under the 10 cm requirement for flying with a pocket knife.

Security took it away from me anyway. :(

What I did today: weeding.

Today- didn't let my mom bait me today. Did what l wanted to do instead of her always shoving her choice on me. Held my boundary in place with no anger.
