As an introduction I first would like to say that this site has proven to be an amazing source of inspiration and I am very thankful to have been referred here.

That said, my name is Leon. I am a 26 year old from Oregon, and honestly had never even heard of aspergers until about a year ago.the manager at a job I used to have asked me one day if I had been diagnosed. Well that sparked my curiosity, so I read everything on the subject that I could get my hands on. I started a new job a couple months ago working as a direct support/care provider, and was again asked, this time by a behavior specialist, one of his apprentices, and my manager, all on seperate occasions. So I have taken the online tests, several in fact.

So I am very confident in my self-diagnosis, but will peruse a formal diagnosis as time permits. I do plan to be on this site often, I always love to learn as well as hear from others who may have similar experiences.

That's it for my overly long hello, and thank you for such a great site, I look forward to exploring more.
