Lego Pneumatics

The Penguin

Chilly Willy The Penguin
I was very excited when I got my first Lego Technic pneumatic set during the 90's. I got fascinated a pump that creates pressurized air can move various parts for this set. Over the years Lego came out with an air tank. The air you press with the pump gets stored in the air tank for future use. I got amazed there air gauge you can attached to measure how much pressure is stored inside.

There also kits that can control pneumatic with a motor though I prefer the non motorized version since you don't need batteries.

Here is one of many things you can do with Lego pneumatic

Cool stuff,I like it :)

I have a lot of air compressors here in the 'ville that could operate that.

My biggest air compressor has a 351 cubic inch V-8 engine like in a 1990 Ford truck had. It puts out 185 CFM @ 90 PSI.
It requires a car battery to run it.

It gets really crummy fuel mileage too :p

Do you think it might be a little overkill? :D

Maybe enough power to power all the Lego pneumatics sets in the world.
