Are the wild hogs dangerous to humans or are they afraid of us? What can you do to stop their destruction of your property?View attachment 143824
Wild hogs tore up my yard.
They can be pretty dangerous. Are the wild hogs dangerous to humans or are they afraid of us? What can you do to stop their destruction of your property?
I searched to see if wild hogs kill humans for food. I found that wild pigs will eat human flesh if the human is already dead but they do not kill humans in order to eat them. They kill humans if provoked or if their offspring are threatened. They can be pretty dangerous.

If you read the entire article I provided the link to, there is a case mention in there of a woman being killed and partially eaten by wild pigs.I searched to see if wild hogs kill humans for food. Billions? Unbelievable! In the United States alone, wild pigs cause billions of dollars in damage every year.
Just repeating what I read when I questioned if wild hogs eat humans. Contradictions exist with pretty much all searches. If you read the entire article I provided the link to, there is a case mention in there of a woman being killed and partially eaten by wild pigs.
OMG ! ! ! !Wild hogs, especially the grown boars, can be dangerous. Sows and their piglets just run away. I suppose if you were lying down and injured, a boar would have no trouble taking a bite.
I've read that people can throw a dead body into a hog pen and the hogs will destroy the entire body.
But you did see him, Rodafina, and now the entire world gets to see him too! Great photograph!
Looks like s/he is wearing a crash helmet, doesn't it?
