I searched to see if wild hogs kill humans for food. I found that wild pigs will eat human flesh if the human is already dead but they do not kill humans in order to eat them. They kill humans if provoked or if their offspring are threatened.
If you read the entire article I provided the link to, there is a case mention in there of a woman being killed and partially eaten by wild pigs.

Just repeating what I read when I questioned if wild hogs eat humans. Contradictions exist with pretty much all searches.
 
Wild hogs, especially the grown boars, can be dangerous. Sows and their piglets just run away. I suppose if you were lying down and injured, a boar would have no trouble taking a bite.

I've read that people can throw a dead body into a hog pen and the hogs will destroy the entire body.
