Is it mainly a boy thing?

None of our stadiums are that large, have a military air port base on out skirts of city that can hold half a million or more. used for music concerts. or Pope visits.

There are several NCAA football stadiums that hold more than 100,000. The largest is on the University of Michigan campus and that stadium is known throughout the U. S. as "The Big House." It's seating capacity is over 106,000. You can always pack in several more thousands of fans that stand up.
Aussie stadiums are the same size, record crowd attendance at the MCG was 116,000. That can't be repeated though, for health and safety reasons they put seats in all the areas that used to be for people to stand so now maximum crowd size is just over 100,000.

Aussie Rules football is the most attended sport Per Capita in the world.

Outdated, because the Aussie Rules' football looks like a rugby one and the fact that both sports are incredibly "contact-oriented," I searched to see the similarities and differences. I thought that they might be the same sport but with different names. I found out differently.

Vastly different. An aussie rules football field IS a Cricket Ground, and that's why it's so huge.
MCG = Melbourne Cricket Ground.
During summer we play cricket there, during winter it's football.

Rugby and American Football are very similar games played on similar sized fields, only 1/3 of the area of a cricket ground.

In Aussie Rules it's illegal to throw the ball under any circumstances, and you can only run with the ball if you "dribble" it, the ball has to be bounced at least once every 15 metres.

I saw these things in the video you posted.
